He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice (Lawson) Smith; 3 children Harold, June Gray, and infant daughter Carol; 2 grandchildren, a great-grand child, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and his parents. Those left to mourn his passing are his children Dale Smith (Fay) of De Soto, Diane Wolf (Sonny) of St. Peters, Donna Thornton (Dan) of St. Louis, Brenda Walz (Bill) of St. Peters, Jim Smith (Tammy) of Hillsboro, Karen Fife (Jerry) of Fredericktown, a brother Don Smith (Beverly) of Florissant; 21 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 11 great- great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services: Visitation Sat., Dec. 13, 11 a.m. until noon services at LONG-GILBERT in Dixon, Missouri
