I added this grave because it was sooo different and I am sure the family is proud of it. I do not have any other information on this proud man. He is of Saratoga, TX.
Since I typed this information Mr. Means granddaughter sent me a email regarding her grandfather and I quote. "I was just looking at the website and I saw that you had posted a picture of my grandfather. Thank you so much! He was an amazing man with so many important stories to tell. He never forgot a thing! I was wanting to tell you a bit about him so you could arrange a few lines to put on his description. He was a hard working man who valued his family and his craft, farming. One day short of being 87 years old, he still maintained his farm and attended his weekly livestock auction in Kirbyville. He never slowed down and didn't believe in doctors. Up until the week before he left us he had been perfectly healthy. The picture on his marker is representing him and his beloved billy goat, Sampson. After seeing so many friends and family members pass on, Daddy B always told me not to cry when he was gone because he was out of this rat race. In honor of that I stay away from his grave because I don't want to disappoint him. Your pictures are one of the few times I've seen his gravesite and I appreciate you so much for taking the time! He was a charmer and I know he'd be happy to know that even now he's catching a ladies eye! Thank you again, Kandace Love"
