Charles Edward "Buddy" Holland, 73, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, February 29, 2012.

He was born February 15, 1939 at Humphrey, a son of the late Henderson Holland and Maude Curbow Holland.

Before retiring in 2010 from Faulkner Body shop, Mr. Holland mastered his craft over half a century having worked with J. D. Smith, Spurlock's, and most notably 38 years with Trotter Ford.

An avid auto-enthusiast, when he wasn't repairing them, he was racing them at the I-30 Speedway. Buddy also found time for a few other of his favorite activities,from collecting Hot Wheels to spoiling grandchildren, he could also be considered a fanatical Christmas decorator.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil, Herbert and Elton Holland; and a sister, Gail Paul.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Woods Holland; a son, Steve Holland (Kathy); daughter, Jackie Logue (Lonnie); sisters, Judy Hale (Bo), Clara Rainey, Wanda Mosley, and Mary McCartney (Don); brothers, William Holland (Vicki), Hayes Holland (Evelyn), Chester Holland (Judy), and Roger Holland (Shelley); step-children, Bob Woods (Kathy) and Muriel Mayfield (David); 17 grandchildren; and a whole slew of great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Fuller Funeral Chapel with Brother Billy West officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
