Born May 19, 1937 at Lake Dick, she was the daughter of the late Henderson Holland and Maude Curbow Holland.
Caring and compassionate, Mrs. Rainey worked as a nurse’s aide at JRMC for more than a decade. She enjoyed quilting, anything outdoors, and spoiling grandbabies.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by
her loving husband of 46 years, Edward Rainey; and six siblings.
Mrs. Rainey is survived by her children, Robin Young (Donald), Ronnie Rainey (Anna), and Rose Hunt (Chuck); siblings, Chester, Roger, Judy, Wanda and Mary; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.
Services will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Aunt Dilly Cemetery, Perry County, at 2p.m.
Visitation will be Monday, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
