His parents were Jacob Elias Williamson and Anna Elizabeth Olsdatter. He farmed prior to coming to Lockhart. He came to America with his family in 1899 and settled in Kittson County, MN, where he spent his childhood. He moved to Lockhart in 1925. After living 16 years on another farm in Halma, MN, they moved to the Lockhart Farm and bought it in 1947. They lived there until 1964 when Emil passed away."
