Rebecca was the fourth child of Christopher and Rebecca (Waltz) Hepler.

She married David Horner on Apr. 3, 1833. David and Rebecca had ten children: Jacob, Mary "Polly" (Miller), John, Elizabeth (Simpson), Henry Harrison, Christopher Myers, David, Phoebe (Lint, Fike), Eli and Cyrus. The Horners owned a farm near Stahlstown, then the Walnut Hill Farm near Donegal, but this writer doesn't know whether the Walnut Hill of the cemetery is the same as the one of the farm.
