Arleigh was the youngest son of John L. and Carrie (Converse) Roberts.
He first married Laura Ruth Napier on Mar 11, 1917 in Lead City, South Dakota. They had two daughters, Leola and Goldie. They divorced in 1925 in Rapid City, SD.
He married his second wife, Elizabeth "Bess" Stoffer (a descendent of an old San Francisco family) on Aug 7, 1926. They had two children, a son, and daughter, Mary (1937-2010).
He was my great uncle and a wonderful, jovial person. Loosing him was a great shock.
