Former Grants Pass resident Martha A. Jenkins, 85, of Corvallis died Wednesday, May 24, 2000, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis.
A private family service will be held. Interment will be at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens in Grants Pass. DeMoss-Durdan Garden Chapel of Corvallis is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 22, 1915, in Dedham, Iowa. She was educated at St. Joseph's School in Dedham. On Aug. 1, 1951, she married Keith Jenkins, who died before her. She lived in Grants Pass for many years.
Survivors include a son, Gary Jenkins of Corvallis; two stepdaughters, Norine Wagner of Portland and Georgia Dowell of Santa Monica, Calif.; two sisters, Alvina Bies of Salem, S.D., and Mary Meyer of Carroll, Iowa; four brothers, Rubert Seidl of Coon Rapids, Iowa, Joseph Seidl of Roselle, Iowa, and George Seidl and Henry Seidl, both of Carroll, Iowa; 12 grandchildren and 11 grandchildren.
