She returned with her two children every summer to Morgan City to visit her parents. She was very dainty and dignified in manner; was active in her church, crocheted beautifully, and loved to cook, seasoning her food as her French ancestors had done. She died in her sleep at the home of her daughter at 336 East 50th Street, Savannah, Ga.
