Eugenia "Gina" Anderson, 68, passed away in Fresno. Gina was born to Edmund and Elizabeth (Van Uitert) Stanger, in Utah.

At a young age she moved with her family to Fresno and was a graduate of Mc Lane High school class of 1961.

She had worked as a Medical Assistant for 10 years in her earlier years and then enjoyed her time as a homemaker for 37 years. During that time she received numerous awards from Avon as a top sales person.

Gina enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, traveling in the motorhome and most important; her life was her family, her children and grandchildren. While they were growing up she was active in the Clovis West Band Boosters and was an active member of the McLane High Class Reunion Committee.

Gina is preceded by her first husband, James D. Werner; her parents and sister Betsie Jean.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Anderson, of 38 years; son, John Anderson and his wife Robin all of Fresno. Daughter, Judy Werner and her husband Rocco Pendola of San Monica, Ca.; two brothers, Russell and Jimmy Stanger; three grandchildren, Trent and Ashley Anderson and Marisa Pendola with a niece Le Ann Stratikis. Gina also leaves behind a host of other family members that she loved.

A graveside service will be held at Belmont Memorial Park, on Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at 1 p.m.
