ESCONDIDO - Harry Adams, 81, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006.
Born Feb. 15, 1925, in San Diego, he lived in San Diego County all his life. He was a carpenter. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War. He also served in the National Guard. He enjoyed fishing, model airplanes, wild animals and carpentry.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife of 61 years, Verla Maxine Adams of Escondido; sons and daughter-in-law William Adams of Hawaii, and Terry and Kristin Adams of Escondido; daughters Rose Young and Marcia Monahan, both of Escondido; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
