My grandpa Arthur Raymond McKnight was born July 4 1909 in Minnesota to Benjamin Franklin McKnight and Martha (Olson) McKnight. March 29 1930 Arthur married Ione Vivian Wood in South Bend Indiana. Grandpa worked on the Alcan ( Alaskan ) Highway in the 40's but was a plasterer by trade and made a career of this until his retirement. He and Grandma lived in Minnesota except for a relatively short time when Oregon became their home. In the 1970's they relocated back to Rochester Minnesota and remained there until their passing.
