Romero, Mary E.

Mary E. Romero. On February 3rd of 2012, Heaven claimed a new angel. Mary E. Romero, a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at home surrounded by her loving husband and family.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gilbert Romero; her seven children, Judy (Jim) Benine, Joyce (Alan) Kuykendall, Janet (Ron) Guthrie, Richard (Loretta) Sandoval, Kristy (Kenny) Johnson, Debbie Romero and Gil Romero; her grandchildren, Ryan (Annie), Natalie (Wayne), Melisa (Ted), Amber, Jessi (Tiffany), Andrew, Emily and Lindsay; her great-grandchildren, Noah, Maya, Jodeci, Liam, Orratio, Jaziah, Lily and Hayleigh. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Dede Aranda and Sally (Bill) Galvan.

All those who knew her well, remember her laughter and joy of life, her great home-cooked meals and especially her enjoyment of playing cards until late in the night. Although her passing has left a great sadness in our hearts, her unconditional love and life's teaching will remain deep in our souls.

By request, private services will be held to honor her memory.
