She was the daughter of the late Willis W. and Goldie (Mauss) Herman.
Mrs. Plank retired from Kennie’s Market in 1990, after working there 30 years. She was a member of the Gettysburg Church of the Brethren.
She was the wife of the late James W. Plank, who died in 1972 and survivors include: three sons, Harold J. Plank and Harvey W. Plank, both from Gettysburg, and Nevin J. Plank, from Spring, TX; seven daughters, Arlene M Wisner, from East Berlin, Miriam L. Gilland, from Blue Ridge Summit, Goldie M. Honeycutt, from Middleburg, MD, Esther J. Bigham, from Fairfield, Joanne Palmer, from York Springs, Treva E. Bream, and Charlotte E. Clowney, both from Gettysburg; 37 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren, and 13 great great-grandchildren; one brother, Norman Herman, York Springs.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Viola Funt Rodgers.
