Lance A. Sease, Jr., 21, of York, was born July 31, 1990, to Rosalyn (Carr) Nevin and Lance A. Sease, Sr. He was the stepson of Kimberly Sease.

Lance was a 2008 graduate of William Penn Sr. High School. He had a smile that lit up the room and that stole many hearts. Lance was an active member of H.O.O.D. Organization and he enjoyed boxing, hanging out with his friends, taking care of his mom, and walking his little brother to school in the morning. Lance had a strong special bond with his dog, Messiah.

Prior to his passing, Lance was known for his loyalty, protection, and his smile. In the words of Lance Sease, "I'm a Boss".

In addition to his parents and stepmother, Lance is survived by a daughter, La-Miah Sease; two brothers, Tracy Swan, Jr. and Tyrese Tyler-Carr; five sisters, Janeesa Jamison, Ashanti Sease, Gabrielle Sease, Latisha Suarez, and Akai Williams; a stepbrother, Teddy Cravens; maternal grandparents, Linda Miller-Sigh of New York, and Vincent Carr, Sr. and stepgrandmother, Kathy; paternal grandparents, Bonnie Sease-Moye (Oscar), Burns Brabham, Sr., and stepgrandmother, Georgia Gulden; six aunts, Kathy Hudson of Lancaster, Nicole Carr, Jill Cuffaro, Carmen Rodriquez, Bernadean McArthur, and Linda Nelson-Hall, all of York; two special aunts, Yolanda Sease and Ertha Breeland, both of York; seven uncles, Vincent Carr, Jr., Troy Breeland, Duane Beatty (Tanya), Oscar Sease, Holland Brabham, and Burns Brabham, Jr., all of York, and Rusty Nevin of Richmond, Va.; a goddaughter, Ny'Lei Maitland; a godmother, Mae Simmons; and a host of cousins and friends.

Lance was preceded in death by an uncle, Vincent "Tracy" Pyle.

A viewing is scheduled for February 25, 2012, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 150 Jefferson Ave., York 17404. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Adrian Boxley, Sr. officiating.
