George Walter Tobin was born on April 28, 1898 in New York City, New York. He was the elder brother of actresses Genevieve Tobin and Vivian Tobin. He was also an actor, known for "From the Valley of the Missing" playing the role Floyd Vandecar Jr., aka 'Flukey,' also starring his sister Vivian (1915). He attended Yale University (1919-1922). He died on September 8, 1979 in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 81.
