Jennie B. Terrell
Jennie B. Terrell, 92, died Friday, Feb. 4, 2005 in Lubbock. She was born Jennie Bailey Nason on October 22, 1912 in Ackerman, Miss. Jennie graduated from high school in Westbrook, Texas, where she met her husband, Byron Owen Terrell.

She graduated with a BA degree in education from Mississippi State College in 1933 and married Byron on Christmas Day 1933 in Lubbock. She and Byron were married for 67 years. Jennie and Byron taught in several schools around the South Plains and lived in Hereford for 30 years.

Jennie is survived by her son, Bob Terrell of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Eugenia Belcher, preceded her and Byron in death. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday at Cornerstone Court, 2102 Ave. Q. in Lubbock.
