MR. J. W. NASON DIES.
The remains of Mr. Jim W. Nason who died in a Jackson hospital, where he had been under treatment for a number of months arrived here last Friday afternoon, and funeral services were held at the Methodist Church by his former pastor. Rev. C. A. Northington, of Ripley, assisted by local pastors.
The deceased was reared in the Mt. Airy community East of Ackerman, and his many friends learned with deep regret of his death. He was a splendid citizen in every relation of life, about 44 years of age, and a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow and five children, two brothers, Messrs. R. E. and T. G. Nason, of this place, and a sister in Texas.
Burial took place at Enon cemetery.
