Lois Smith, 79, of Sullivan and formerly of Dugger, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2004, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.
Born Oct. 9, 1924 in Sullivan County, she was the daughter of Floyd and Corda (Dunbar) Bedwell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ferne Smith in 1991; twin daughters, Alice and Alicia Smith; one sister, Judy Booker; and her parents.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger. Burial will follow at in Morris Chapel Cemetery.
