Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Shuey Hupp, 68, were held in Los Angeles, Tuesday, March 8, 1949, and burial was at Forest Lawn Cemetery in that city. Mrs. Hupp passed away March 5, at a Rest Home in Los Angeles where she had been receiving treatment for the past several months. Mrs. Hupp spent her early life in Hamburg leaving here in the early twenties to go to Council Bluffs, where she lived for several years. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lou Shuey and an infant brother preceded her in death. she is survived by her husband, J. B. Hupp, her daughter, and one grandson. Mrs. William Welch of this city is a cousin. Mr. and Mrs. Hupp and her daughter and family have lived in California for the past eight years.
