OBITUARY :
MARY LOUISE (HEINBAUGH) TROSTLE, 79, of 101 Geiser Ave., Waynesboro, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004, in the home of her daughter in Winchester, Va., following a lengthy illness.

Born July 16, 1924, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie (Cook) Fox. She lived most of her life in the Pen Mar and Wayne Heights areas.

Mrs. Trostle attended Waynesboro schools.

She and her husband, John H. Trostle, were married March 31, 1941. They lived most of their married life in Pen Mar. Mrs. Trostle moved to her present residence following the death of her husband on April 12, 1991.

Mrs. Trostle was a homemaker.

She also worked during her later years at the Candy Kitchen on the square in Waynesboro.

She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rouzerville, where she was a member of the social committee.

Mrs. Trostle is survived by one daughter, Wanda K. Gyurisin of Winchester; one foster daughter, Mary Beth Quick of Strasburg, Va., one stepsister, Patsy Gardner of
Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harvey M. Trostle.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Philip Van Dam officiating.

Burial will be in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, near Rouzerville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice. 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, Va. 22601
