Services were conducted at 1 p.m. today in the Harrison Garden chapel in Kewanna for William Arthur CALVIN, 72, Vero Beach, Fla., who died at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday in the St. Joseph hospital at South Bend. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Kewanna. A former resident of Kewanna, he was born Feb. 5, 1896, in Kewanna, the son of William Vincent and Malissa TONER CALVIN. His marriage was in 1920, to Aurel MOGLE, who died in 1944. He was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Francis ALLSOP, Niles, Mich.; Mrs. Thomas DUNHAM, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Paul L. SMITH, Arcata, Cal., and Mrs. James O. KINNER, Marion; two sons, Wallace [CALVIN], Vero Beach, Fla., and William [CALVIN], West Sacramento, Cal.; one sister, Mrs. Ralph COMER, Kewanna, and nine grandchildren. One sister and three brothers preceded in death.
