Chester Sexton, died March 30, 1975, in Home Hospital, after being a patient since March 13. He was reared in Metcalfe County, KY and moved to Lafayette in 1940. He was employed at Fairfield Manufacturing Co, and retired in 1954. In 1934, he married Goldie A. Brinson in Cambellsville, KY; their children were son Rev. Lewis Sexton, Highland; daughter Regina Perkins (husband Max), Lafayette. Also, four daughters from a prior marriage, Ruth Bartholomew (husband Ray), Sylvia Bodkin (husband Glessnor), Betty Kamp (husband William), all of Lafayette, and Mary Rainey (husband Mel), Longwood; and stepson Edward Brinson, Lafayette.
