Mrs. LaForce was born on Sept. 16, 1925, in Sullivan County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh and Rosie Ketron Dunn.
She was a housewife, and was of the Protestant faith.
Mrs. LaForce was preceded in death by her father and mother, and by two sisters, Margie McMurray and Vivan Peters.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Carl LaForce; one daughter, Sandra Bryant; two sons, Phillip LaForce and Tim LaForce, both of Kingsport; five grandchildren, Terry Bryant, Tonya Bryant, Roger Bryant and wife Amy, Johnny Bryant and wife Lisa, and Kenny Bryant; three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Tabitha, and Kelsie; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends today from 6 to 9 p.m. in the East Lawn Funeral Home.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Joe Goad officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
