CORINTH - Mrs. Polly Massengill, 71, retired factory worker, died Sunday at Magnolia Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville with burial in Sardis Cemetery near Rienzi. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corinth.
Mrs. Massengill, the widow of R. E. 'Bob' Massengill, leaves two daughters, Mrs. Nelda Mason and Mrs. Barbara Wilburn, both of Corinth; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Davis and Mrs. Bernice Hamlin, both of Booneville; a brother, Fletcher Burress of Booneville, nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
