Simon Overcash died at his home along the Falling Spring road yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock, aged 81 years, 8 months and 28 days. His wife died about 10 years ago. He is survived by these children: D. B. Overcash of Canton, Ill., Mrs. E. M. Davis of Deerfield, Ohio, Mrs. Clark Shope of Quincy, T. C. Overcash and Augustus Overcash of Guilford Township, John at home, and Mrs. Joseph Patterson of Good's Siding; also two brothers, Harmon of Guilford Township, and Luthor in Illinois.

The funeral of Simon Overcash, who died on Sunday at his home along the Falling Spring Road, will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with services at Grindstone Hill Church and interment at the cemetery adjoining.
