MRS. MARY ANN SCHNEIDER
Mrs. Mary Ann Schneider passed away Friday, June 13, 1958, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E.M. Jungman, at Castroville, Texas.

Mrs. Schneider was born October 17, 1870 in Castroville. She was married to Frank Xavier Schneider February 5, 1889 in Castroville. They then moved to Devine on their own farm, where they were blessed with five children.

Mrs. Schneider was active in Christian Mothers Society in St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Devine until last few years. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider were very charitable neighbors around the Devine area. Mrs. Schneider's husband passed away in 1927. In recent years, Mrs. Schneider made her home with her daughters' families: Mr. & Mrs. Alex Bohl and Mr. & Mrs. E.M. Jungman.

Survivors are two sons, Edward and Emil Schneider; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Bohl, Mrs. Dora Bohl, and Mrs. Lena Jungman; a sister, Mrs. E.J. Balmos of Castroville; 26 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday morning at 10:00 o'clock in St. Joseph Catholic Church by Father Smith with Requiem High Mass. Her body was laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Devine.

Pallbearers were George Bohl, Elmer Schneider, Claude Jungman, Bill Schneider, Alfred Mann, Gene Graham. Ushers were Cyril Schneider and Walter Jungman.
