The headstone mentioned below, which was apparently never installed at the burial site, was recently recovered and rescued, restored and updated, and set in place, and was to be dedicated with proper ceremony, probably in the autumn of 2012.

McLemore, 832 Wilson Bldg., Dallas, Texas. This application is for the unmarked grave of a soldier. It is understood the stone will be furnished and delivered at the railroad station or steamboat landing above indicated, at Government expense, freight prepaid, and agreed that it will be promptly removed and set up at private expense.
