Abraham Haun, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Haun, was born in Frederick County, Maryland, in the year 1816 and died at the home of his son William Haun, near Harlem Springs, Wednesday, November 30, making him nearly 89 years old. He remained a faithful member of the Lutheran Church until death. He leaves a son and two daughters to mourn for him. The funeral services, which were largely attended, and which were conducted by Rev. F. W. Rohlfinger, were held at Kilgore.

After the death of Sarah (Christlieb) Haun, Abraham Haun on 03-December-1857 married Sarah Ann Abel, born 09-April-1821, in Carroll County, Ohio.

Abraham and Sarah Ann (Able) Haun had two children: a daughter, Mary Catherine Haun, born on 07 September 1858(Mrs. S. M. Gotschall of Minerva, Ohio); and a son, William Henry Haun, born on 28 April 1860, both born in Carroll County, Ohio. William married Mary A. Walters on 29-July-1988. William H. Haun died in 1932. he was buried in Arabia Cemetery in Perrysville, Carroll County, Ohio. Mary A. Walters Haun was born 1859; died 1931, she was buried in Arabia Cemetery in Perrysville, Carroll County, Ohio.

Abraham Haun died 30-November-1904, aged about 89 years, at the home of his son, William, at Harlem Springs. He was buried on 03-December-1904 in Kilgore Cemetery in Loudon Township, Carroll County, Ohio.
