Aaron was the son of Terrence Lomax and Sarah Short Lomax
Aaron Lomax was born in Abbeville County May 5, 1789. He died Dec 9, 1848. He married Elizabeth Brownlee Sept 3, 1812. She was a daughter of George Brownlee and Sarah Caldwell Brownlee. She was born Sept 6, 1787 and died May 29, 1854.
Aaron remained in the county of his birth and became a wealthy planter and also a merchant. He was named Executor on the will of his father-in-law, George Brownlee in Dec 1833.
Their children:
1. Samuel Robertson Lomax, 2 – Jesse Lomax, 3 – Augustus Lomax, 4 - Savannah Lucy Lomax, 5 -George W Lomax and 6 other Lomax children who died in infancy

died of dropsy in the chest.
