Funeral services for Elmer Walter Brown, 50, who died Wednesday at his home, two miles west of here, will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Episcopal church in Oregon. Burial will be in River View cemetery.

Mr. Brown became ill Sunday. His death was the result of pneumonia. The son of Upton and Ella Brown, he was born May 13, 1889, at Hagerstown, Md. He was married to Ruth Marie Brown and the family came to this state in 1917.

Surviving are his widow; his mother; three daughters; Mrs. Evelyn Smith, Mount Morris, and Catherine and Charlotte at home; a son, James, at home; four brothers; Russell, Joe, Charles, and Ivin, and three sisters; Mrs. Agnes Willard, Mrs. Minnie Harbaugh, and Mrs. Nettie Harbaugh, all residing in Maryland.
