Garnett R. Jones, 88, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Clarksville and Martinsburg, Iowa, died Feb. 2, 1999, in Aurora, Colorado.
She was born April 16, 1910, in Clarksville.
She married Dr. George Everette Jones on Sept. 3, 1932. He died in 1995. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa. She was raised around Martinsburg. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the PTA, the Heather Gardens Association and worked with Sunshine Service.
She is survived by two sons, Warren and Everette; a sister, Irene Sauer of Fremont, Iowa.
The service was Feb. 8, 1999, at Grace United Methodist Church in Denver, Colorado. Burial was in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
