Irene Sauer, 94, of Fremont died Nov. 30, at her home.
She was born Dec. 2, 1906, between Fremont and Tioga to Charles Omar and Elenora Roquet Robbins. She married Samuel R. Sauer on June 2, 1926, in Martinsburg. They lived in the Farson area until moving to Fremont on, Aug. 2, 1966.
She was graduated from Martinsburg High School in 1924 and attended Cedar Falls Teachers College.
She is survived by her husband.
Services were Dec. 3 in the Fremont Baptist Church with burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Ottumwa.
