Mr. Mayhew was born in New York State and came to Sheboygan county fifty-three years ago and settled in the town of Greenbush, where he conducted a farm.
He is survived by the following children: E. B. Mayhew and Mrs. T. H. Thackery of Greenbush and a sister, Mrs. C. A. Webb of Brandon, besides nine grandchildren and six great grand children.
The funeral was held this afternoon, Rev. John Horton of the Methodist church officiating. Interment took place in the Greenbush village cemetery.
