Funeral services for James Alexander Allen, 87, of White Plains, who died Wednesday, will be held Saturday at 2p.m. at the Lower Cane Creek Baptist Church in Cleburne County with the Reverend John Wells officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church. The burial will be in the adjacent cemetery with Gray Brown-Service Mortuary in charge.
Survivors include one son, three daughters, and seven grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Herman Smith, Howard Riddle, Sam Turner, Joe Powell, Marshal Brown, and John Collins.
