Sallie Winfield Campbell Anthony, 81, of Due West, widow of James Hicks Partridge and Thomas William Anthony, died Sunday. Sallie was born in Iva and was a retired textile worker.
She is survived by sons Calvin Partridge of Hodges, T.A. Partridge of Ware Shoals and Walter Anthony of Greenwood; a stepson, Richard Lee Anthony of Lavonia, GA; daughters Irene Whitmire of Fountain Inn, Gladys Palmer of Anderson, Elizabeth Prince of Due West and Evelyn DeLoach of Greenwood; stepdaughter, Ruby Nell Anthony of Lavonia; brothers Ernest Campbell of Fountain Inn and D. T. Campbell of Greenville; sisters, Fannie Elgin of Greenville and Bertha Elvin of Laurens; 34 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
Services were at Winona Baptist Church at 4pm Tuesday and burial was in the church cemetery.
