WARE SHOALS — Evelyn Anthony Sorrow, 72, of 11 Sparks Ave., widow of Benjamin Olin Sorrow, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004 at Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
Born in Greenwood County, she was a daughter of Sally Anthony and attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Sorrow and Bennie Sorrow, both of Ware Shoals; two daughters, Sandra Lafoy of Maryville, Tenn., and Sarah Carolyn Schmitt of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Calvin Partridge of Hodges; a sister, Gladys McAlister of Anderson; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The families are at their respective homes.
Memorial services will be announced at later date.
Parker-White Funeral Home is in charge.

Per a telephone call 9/29/2015 with Parker-White Funeral Home in Ware Shoals, cremains were given to Mrs. Anthony's daughter. At this time, there is no knowledge of any actual burial or any stone.
