Helen May Rohm, 81, Blain, moved on to eternal life on February 14, 2012. Helen was born on July 30, 1930, East Waterford, Pennsylvania to the late Hugh and Margaret (McClure) Clark. For more than 62 years she was a loving wife of Richard G. Rohm.

Helen was in 1947 graduate of Blain Union Vocational High School. In 1949 she married Richard, and for years they owned and operated Richlen Very Farm, near Blain. Along with helping on the farm, Helen was employed at various times at New Enterprise Limestone Quarry in Dry Run and Masland Carpets in Carlisle. Later in life she was the Jackson Township tax collector.

Helen was involved in many civic organizations. Just specially enjoyed her membership in the Blain Zion United Church of Christ, where she was a member of the Woman's Fellowship and tirelessly worked for many years on the annual church supper. In addition, she was a past member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Blain Fire Company.

Helen enjoyed her life and all it had to offer. She never tired of hearing about her children, grandchildren, and or great-grandchildren. Nobody can match her gardening, canning, or cooking skills. Also she spent lots of time selling and quilting, most recently with The Knotty Ladies of Blain. One of her greatest pleasures was " loafing" at the Blain Hotel with her dear friends.

Helen is survived by her husband, Richard G Rohm, and her brother, Lawrence Clark of Loysville. In addition, she leaves behind three daughters; Connie M Heller of boiling Springs, Vicki F Steltz, of Womelsdorf, and Sherry a Woodward of Coatesville. She also has six grandchildren; Brent Miller, Derek Miller, Sarah Steltz , Taylor Steltz, Jacob Woodward, and Richard Woodward, along with two great-grandchildren Maxwell and Molly Miller. Two brothers, H Blair Clark and James Clark preceded her in death, as well as a sister, Esther Adair.

Helen was a wonderful gentle person who led a quiet example. She loved her family, her community, and her God. The world is a better place because she has been part of it, and we will miss her more than mere words can never express.

Contribution in Helen's honor can be made to the Zion Charge of the Blain United Church of Christ, 24 W. Main St., Blain PA 17006. Burial is by the Nickel Funeral Home in Loysville PA. There will be visitation at the funeral home on Friday, February 17 6:30 8:30 PM. Burial will be at the Blain Cemetery
