In December of 1846, Ann married Burrough (Burr) Beardsley, one of several marriages between the Smith and Burroughs families. They moved to neighboring Schuyler County where they spent many years living in Catherine Township. Both Burr and Ann are buried in Highland or Mitchell Hollow Cemetery in Montour Township. Ann died in Odessa, Seneca County in 1917 at age 90. Their common tombstone reads "Burr Beardsley died March 16, 1873 at 49 years, 9 months, 17 days, Ann Louise Smith his wife born 1826 died 1917"
