Funeral services for Phillip Babb, 75, of Reform, who died Friday at his residence will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Unity Grove Methodist Church at Palmatto. The Rev. Kit Carson will officiate with the burial in the church cemetery, Stabbler-Robbins directing.
He is survived by his wife Lois Babb, Reform; two sons, Dr. Bobby Babb, Tuscaloosa, and Donald Babb, Gordo; one sister, Mellie Wilson, Kennedy; one brother W. E. Babb, Davenport, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.
He was a life long resident of Pickens County, a member of Unity Grove Methodist Church and a retired lumberman from Reid Lumber Co.
Pallbearears will be Brownie McAdams, Gene Smith, Larry Lloyd, Mike Richards, Charles Babb, and David Hammond.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends of the Palmetto community, members of the Unity Grove Methodist Church and former employees of the Reid Lumber Co.
