Vetta Grover Scott, 82, of Idaho Falls died Oct. 2, 1991, at her home after an illness. She was under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice.
She was born Nov. 15, 1908, at Rigby to Enoch and Amber jane Call Grover. She grew up in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School.
On March 6, 1930, she married Cecil C Scott at Rigby. Their marriage was later solmnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She had been employed by JC Penny Co., Newberry's and Haynes Department. She and her husband owned Scott's Grocery Store in Lincoln for 14 years.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in various positions, especially those involving music. She served as an officiator in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for 13 years. She also played in an all girl dance band.
Survivors include her husband of Lincoln; her sons, Wayde C Scott of Grant, Jack G Scott of Idaho Falls, Ralston W Scott of Nampa, and L Dee Scott of Loveland, Colorado; 2 sisters, Welda Dutson of Ogden, Utah, and Irma Bledsoe of Sacremento, California; 18 grand children; 36 great grandchildren. She was proceded in death by 7 brothers ans three sisters.
