Clarence, 88, formerly of Idaho Falls and Rigby, died June 1, 1988, at Kennewick, Wash., of cancer.
He was born March 25, 1900, at Rigby, to Enoch and Amber Jane Call Grover. He attended schools at Rigby and College at Logan, Utah. On Aug 29, 1923, he married Cleah Levitt in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Following their marriage they lived in Rigby until 1942, then they moved to Idaho Falls where she died in 1960.
He was an engineer at Riverview Hospital in Idaho Falls fo a number of years, and raised cattle and farmed in the Rigby area. He moved to Kennewick, Washington, in 1976. On August 14, 1978, he married Eva McQuiston.
Clarence was active in scouting and was the recipient of the Silver Beaver Award. he was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include his wife of Kennewick, Washington; a daughter, Beth Chandler of Idaho Falls; two sons, Leavitt Grover of Kennewick, Washington, Thomas Grover of Emmett, Idaho; a step-daughter, Evelyn Benham of Kennewick, Washington; four sisters, Arnelia McQuivey of Boise, Welda Dutson of Ogden, Utah, Vetta (Cecil) Scott of Lincoln, and Irma (Guy) Bledsoe of Rocklin, California; a brother, Milton Grover of Provo, Utah; sixteen grand children; and thirty one great grandchildren.
