Mrs. Elizabeth W. Cully
Havre--Mrs. Elizabeth Walsh Cully, 55, pioneer Hill county resident, died in a Havre hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Cully was born in County Kilkenny, Ireland, and came to this country as a young woman. She married Michael John Cully in Superior, Wis., in 1918. The Cullys came to Montana in 1910 from Wisconsin and were among the first homesteaders in this county. They lived on the homestead located 13 miles north of Havre until 1921, when they moved to the city. They had continued farming operations through the years .
Besides her husband, Mrs. Cully is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Alice Lawlor, Havre, Mrs. Arlyle Shanley and Mrs. Frances Sullivan, both of Seattle, Mrs. Mae Phalen and Elizabeth Cully, both of Chicago; and a son, John Cully of Seattle.
Services will be conducted at St. Jude's Catholic Church Saturday morning and burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
