Bodybuilder. He took part in competitions across the world during the 1970's owning many titles such as Mr. World and Mr. Europe. He won the title of Mr. Universe competing against Lou Ferrigno. In his mid 30's he was diagnosed with a kidney illness which affected his eyesight. By 1984 he was on kidney dialysis at his home in Clydach. He was president of the Welsh Federation of Bodybuilders and continued to support up and coming talent.
