The death of John Milton Malan, 41, forner Ogden resident, occurred Monday in Las Vegas, Nev., following a brief illness.
Mr. Malan was born in Ogden November 30, 1893, a son of John and Maud Empey Malan. He was employed for a number of years as a boilermaker in the local Southern Pacific railroad shops, leaving here about ten years ago for Las Vegas, where he had since resided.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Poulsen Malan, and a son, Marvin Malan, both of Los Angeles. He is survived by eight brothers and sisters; Mrs. George Tillett, Goldie, Spencer, Nelson, Martin and Harry Malan, all of Ogden; Mrs. M. Henline, Magna,a nd Mrs. Florence Bartlett, San Francisco.
Funeral services will be held in Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock.
