At the age of 62, Jay A. Adair III January 26, 2008 at home surrounded by loving family and friends. A native of Waycross, GA, he graduated from Ware County High School. After attending East Tennessee State University he proudly served his country as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. He then made his home in Jacksonville, FL.
Preceded in death by his father, J.A. Adair, Jr.
He is survived by wife of 16 years, his son , stepchildren, 12 grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, his mother, his sister and brother. Funeral services were held at Atlantic Beach Assembly of God. Interment at Greenlawn Cemetery.
