Wynelle Wainwright Adair, 91, of Waycross died Wednesday morning (May 14, 2008) at Satilla Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born in Wayne County to the late Seaborn and Lucy Watkins Wainwright. Ms. Adair was the owner and operator of the Waycross Sitter Service for 30 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Green Thumb Garden Club. Ms. Adair enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.A. Adair, Jr., one son, Jay Adair and a son-in-law, Billy Ellis.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Ellis, Gainesville, GA, one son, Johnny Adair, Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren, Jason Adair wife Beth, John Adair, Shane Adair wife Jennifer all of Jacksonville, FL; four great-grandchildren, Brennan, Bailey, Lance and Bryson Adair all of Jacksonville, FL; one sister, Jackie Nelson, Jonesboro, GA and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held Friday afternoon at 4pm in Greenlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 - 7 pm at Miles-Odum Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3011 Hampton Avenue, Suite 361, Brunswick, GA 31520.
