C. F. Shafer Dies; Ran Car Repair Shop

Clarence F. (Pop) Shafer, 71 years old, died yesterday in his home at 3145 South Harlan Street.

Born in Missouri, Mr. Shafer lived here 18 years and operated a automobile repair shop at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Little and Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove, with burial in New Crown Cemetery.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Della M. Shafer; a daughter, Miss Glenrita Shafer, and three sons, William O., Kenneth L., and Earl F. Shafer, all of Indianapolis; a brother, Noah A. Shafer of California, 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
