SULLIVAN, Ind., September 20 --- Mattie Shafer, age twenty, of Shelburn, died at the home of Mrs. Kate Casassa, in Linton, from the effects of 100 grains of corrosive sublimate she took with suicidal intent. A love affair was the cause.
