Born in Surry County, Mrs. Robertson was the daughter of the late Lee Franklin and Emma Lawson Cook.
She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church.
Surviving are two nieces, Lynn Rigsbee of Pawley's Island, SC, and Barbara C. Ziglar and husband, Jimmy, of Rural Hall; a nephew and his wife, Lee and Cecilia Cook of Pilot Mountain; three great nephews, Tyler Cook, Eric Cook, and Mark Dodson; and two great nieces, Jennifer Rigsbee and Lauren Rigsbee.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Robertson was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Robertson; three sisters, Creola C. Boyles, Hazel C. Fadden, and O'Dell C. Davis; two brothers, Bernie E. Cook and Douglas Baxter Cook; two nephews, Doug Cook and Bernard Davis; and a niece, Penny Dodson.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2009, at 2:00 PM at Skyline Memory Gardens, with the Rev. Todd E. Byrd officiating. There will be no formal visitation at the funeral home.
